This is the new low budget/handheld/blair witch-esque horror film, and it’s one of the best I’ve seen. It really lives up to the hype, and it’s becoming a huge hit on mostly just word of mouth. In fact, it might be the best horror film I’ve seen since “[REC]” or “28 Days Later.” Hopefully now more studios will realize that you don’t need huge effects, big actors, glossy sets, etc., to make an effective horror film. Made for a measly 15k, this thing is on its way to becoming a phenomenon.
See it in the theater, with a big crowd, late at night.
